How can someone describe finance? They would start by discussing what finance is about. For starters, finance It’s similar to accounting in many respects. In plain terms:

| Figuring out how much money you have. | Deciding what to do with the money you have. |
In other words, finance is the act/process/study of managing money in such a way that you get and keep more of it, and lose less of it.
