Accounting Fundamentals & Financial Statements Overview

Welcome to the second week of BUSN 5200: Basic Finance for Managers. This week we will continue our study of finance by discussing:

• What accounting is all about, and
• Introduction to financial statements

We will also continue our discussion of the Case Study of McDonald's. This week we will finish up the Company overview section and take our first look at the company's financial statements.

Reminder: If you don't have your textbooks yet, the assigned readings and questions for the first two weeks in the course are available through the Textbook eReserves folder found on the course homepage.
