Case Study Presentation

For the past eight weeks you have been researching, analyzing, and recording your findings about HOME DEPOT, and you have submitted a formal report of your results to your instructor. Now it is time to present your results to your fellow students. You will do this by posting a summary of your case study report findings in the discussion forum. Organize your post according to the outline below.

Outline for Summary of Findings forum post:
Use this outline for the message you will post in the discussion forum describing the results of your analysis of HOME DEPOT. The following should be included:

• Subject Line
  The subject line for your summary of findings message should say "Case Study report – [your name]"
• Title
  Your summary of findings message should have the following title: "Report on the Financial Analysis of Company Name. by [your name]"
• Brief Description
  Your summary of findings message should begin with a brief description of the company (no more than one paragraph).
• Overall Financial Status
  Your summary of findings message should contain your estimate of the overall financial status of the company (briefly summarized).
• Specifics
  Your summary of findings message should have the following specifics which all should be briefly summarized:
  • Principal Strengths
  • Principal Weaknesses
  • (optional) Other Comments
• Recommendations
  Your summary of findings message should conclude with a summary of any recommendations that you may have.

Important Note: For the various sections above, do not simply copy the information out of your report. If you do your post will be way too long. Instead, briefly summarize your findings and recommendations. Your complete presentation should be no more than one page long.

You may add to the above outline if you have additional points you feel need to brought up, but your presentation must contain at least those items shown.
