Uploading Files
Uploading Files
It is important to have all of your handouts, slides, syllabi, articles, and other important files in your WorldClassRoom shell so students can easily locate each file. For example, you may need to upload your PowerPoint slides for your lectures so that students can download them prior to class and use them to take notes during class.
When uploading files, first be sure to name your files something meaningful so that your students are able to locate them. For example, “Kate Smith IKEA Catalog Differences Article” instead of “Fall 2016 Handout” will greatly improve your students’ experience. It is also recommended that you organize your files in weekly folders.
To upload a file to your WorldClassRoom shell:
Once you have uploaded your files, you have several options to manage them. Instructors can lock folders and files so they can only be viewed by direct links or only unlock on a specific date.
Accessibility
It is important to acknowledge the need for accessibility in the documents that you provide to students.
