One strategy for content in your WorldClassRoom course would be to use your "lecture notes" and upload them into your WCR shell for students to view before they come to class. Keep in mind that your on ground class is not going to translate word-for-word into a remote instruction or hybrid type of class. You may want to consider modifying what your normal lecture would be and then upload to your WCR course shell. This is similar to the “Flipping the Learning” strategy where students get their first access to the content, the topics, before they have to be in class. This way they have time to learn the important terminology and relationships PRIOR to discussing in class.
You can upload:
- Powerpoint Presentations, that include some narration, depending on your presentation style, to assist with understanding
- Word Documents with your notes to further the explanation
- Articles or webpages that will extend the ideas in your lecture content so that students see different ways of viewing the topic and have a broader foundation for discussion.
Please review the Creating Accessible Documents Page for important considerations regarding accessibility as you develop your content.
