Let's practice some of the skills we've covered in this part of the module: setting up your course Homepage and adding video content to a Page.

Set up the Homepage of Your Course

1. Navigate to your course in Canvas.
2. On your Homepage, click "Edit," then set up your Homepage with a layout that will be easy for your students to navigate. Check out the options on the Course Organizations Strategies page for ideas.

Embed a YouTube Video within a Page

1. Navigate to the Pages tab within your course, click "View all pages" then click the "+Page" button.
2. Go to YouTube, find a video you'd like to try embedding, then copy the URL.
3. On your new Page in Canvas, paste the URL into the text editor (click "Edit" if you're not yet in editing mode), click Enter, then Save.
