Assessment in MNGT 5650
Assessment in MNGT 5650
Webster University is required by our accrediting agencies to assess student learning outcomes. To assess student learning, all MNGT 5650 instructors will be required to use the Capstone Simulation (team competition) as well as Comp-XM (individual competition). Comp-XM is the assessment tool that companions with the Capstone Simulation. Students first compete on teams for a team grade, but then in addition, run a short simulation on their own and answer multiple choice questions relating to their results. In this way, questions are unique to the individual student. Data is automatically collected, collated, and sent to the Management Department at the end of each term. Both of these student assignments (Capstone and Comp-XM) are required in this course and must be included in all MNGT 5650 sections for proper assessment. No exceptions will be granted to these two requirements as this data is necessary for continued accreditation.
