Meet the Course Lead

I'm glad we're teaching together.  I began teaching for Webster at its campus in Louisville.  The Director wanted me to teach the course in business statistics in light of my research and publishing background.  What opened more immediately, however, was the course on Organizational Behavior (MNGT 5590).  During my years with the Louisville campus, I also taught MNGT 5500, MNGT 5650 (Management & Strategy), and MNGT 5670 (Managerial Leadership).

After several years of teaching on-ground, I was asked to consider teaching MNGT 5590 online.  I was reluctant; I liked the personal contact and interaction with the students.  But I began and with help, a lot of it initially from colleagues at our Online Learning Center, came to love the personal attention that I was able to devote to each student in my response to their initial discussion posts, case studies, and tests.  And now, no tests but a research paper which has been improved by incorporating three steps prior to submitting the paper as a way to check and mark progress toward that end.

For some years now, my experience has been as course lead, revising and updating the syllabus and just last year, completing the necessary revisions to fit the twelfth edition of Organizational Behavior and Management by Konopaske et al.

Let's get to work.
