Welcome to MNGT 5590.  This graduate course examines the behavior of individuals and groups in companies and organizations.   Among the topics explored:

• Organizational behavior and its impact on both individuals and organization
• The breadth of diversity and its influence on organizational culture
• Attitudes and job satisfaction in the workplace
• The role of motivation
• Working as a group and in teams
• Leadership, power, and politics
• Organizational structure and design.

Through these and other topics, weekly discussions and case assignments, you will gain a useful framework to view your current role, to think about your career, and how you might shape your future.
