Our Approach and Methodology:

We use real-world simulations and experiential activities in this program to bring alive course content to help students engage and apply this learning in their positions.

We assess your knowledge, skills and abilities as a manager and leader, individually and provide you with a personalized development plan to match your strengths and challenges to help you succeed in your career.

The Management and Leadership Program focuses on the leadership and strategic thinking skills needed to identify innovative opportunities and make correct strategic decisions.

We believe that strategic thinking is a learnable skill. Strategic Management teaches students the art of strategic thinking with roots in Sun Tzu, and how a leader should 'choose one's battles'.

Strategic thinking involves knowing when to attack, defend, retreat or avoid relative to any defined 'battle'.

The Attack-Defend-Retreat-Avoid framework of 'strategy' provides a model for decision-makers to understand how best of allocate resources, movement and countermovement, for the greatest return.

The goal here is to eliminate the guesswork and reliance on 'hope this is the right decision', which cannot be a good strategy.

We teach critical thinking applied in a competitive environment to directly improve decision-making skills.

The program learning outcomes are listed below.

As members of this canvas community you will have access to all of the core course modules in the program.

However, the focus is the course you are approved to teach.

Review course details to familiarize yourself with all the curricular changes made to the course you teach.
