My philosophy of teaching is straightforward. We are the learned who continue to learn; our students are learners.
Our principal task is to provide them frameworks from which they can view issues and situations more broadly, develop the habit of reflecting, and then to communicate clearly. Among the frameworks are topics covered in our text, for example, individual differences, perceptions and attributions, motivation, and leadership.
It is incumbent on us to listen to the students, in oral or written communication, and to read and make suggestions as we prepare to score their work. They reasonably count on us to help them learn and that we have been prepared to do.
